From Dragon Mania Legends (DML) Wiki
(Redirected from Southern Ruins Habitat)Megabitats are a type of oversized Habitat that can be formed by placing together, and then merging, four special part Habitats. Once merged, Megabitats form a massive 10×10 Habitat that functions like a Legendary habitat, but houses up to 12 Dragons and stores a maximum of 250,000 Gold. There is no restriction as to which Dragon Elements or Rarities can go into a Megabitat or its parts. Megabitats are not upgradable and do not cost anything to merge or unmerge.
Megabitat Part Habitats
Megabitat part Habitats, are special, individual Habitats that can only be merged in specific combinations of 4. They are 5×5 in size, cannot be upgraded, and don't cost anything to merge (or unmerge). They are usually themed, into a set of 4 complimentary appearances according to that theme, and the theme appearance is sometimes enhanced slightly once all four parts are merged. Each Megabitat part also has a specific position (north, south, east or west) it can be placed in for merging, it cannot be merged in any other position.
Merging & Unmerging
Megabitat Part Habitats are merged into a Megabitat by first positioning the required pieces of a set correctly (north, south, east, and west) against one another's edges, then selecting one habitat and pressing the Merge button. A confirmation window appears displaying the new Gold and Dragon capacity, and the Trainer must press the Yes button to complete the merge. Otherwise, merging can be cancelled by pressing the No button.
Habitats are unmerged, or separated back into separate habitats, by selecting the Megabitat, pressing the button, then pressing the yes button. Unmerging is only possible after the bonus Dragons afforded by the merge are removed, and the Megabitat contains not more than 8 Dragons. Unmerging is cancelled by pressing the No button.
