Description

The Body Shape of the Nidhogg Dragon is Leonine. It has a light-brown body. Two twisted, wooden branches acting as horns extend from its pointy snout to behind the head, each featuring an orange thorn above the eye and curving backwards into horns. Two small, matching branches sit beneath each horn at the cheek, and the Dragon has yellow eyes with small pupils. Leaves cover its neck, its upper body, and the top of its head. Thorny root-like branches twist on its belly and legs. Each front leg has two raised, orange spots near the top and a spike protruding from the elbow, while the hind legs have two of the same spots at the hip and a small spike behind the heel. The Dragon's orange feet each have three claws. The thorny roots wind around the tail, sprout three leaves, and amass into a knot at the tail tip. It is based on Nidhogg, a dragon from Norse mythology who gnaws at a root of Yggdrasil, the world tree.
