(Redirected from Skills)Skills are abilities learned by Dragons, based on their Elements, when sent to the Dragon Academy. Each skill learned is added to that Dragon's Elemental attack in battle, and each skill has two possible masteries at level 6.
Upgrade Cost
Skills can be raised to a maximum of 6 levels, and at Level 6, a skill is mastered by receiving one of two additional effects, at the Trainer's choice. Skill upgrades are bought with Gold and Scrolls.

Skill Descriptions (Summary)
The following is a summary of all Skills, grouped together into one table, displaying the Level 6 skill and mastery for each. For skill Levels 1-5 please see each skill's linked page. Note that a previously selected mastery skill can be changed instantly any time, in exchange for 15 Scrolls and 35 Gems.

Hot Coals | Defeating the primary target damages all other opponents again by the same 85% DAS. This damage is affected by Stone Shield but does not trigger Death Mark and is also affected by Element resistance and weakness. |
Slow Burn | Inflicts damage over time on the target for two turns by 50% of the caster's DAS each turn. This damage is not reduced by Stone Shield and does not trigger Vengeful Sword or Death Mark, but is affected by Element resistance and weakness. | ||
Wind | Dark Clouds Reduces target's damage 90% DAS, and the trained secondary effect occurs:

Earth | Stone Shield Absorbs 120% DAS incoming direct damage for the allied target, 70% DAS incoming direct damage for others, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Stone Cold | Target absorbs 50% DAS indirect damage and stays alive for 1 additional turn after it is defeated. |
Tombstone | Target's shield lasts for 2 additional turns and absorbs 40% DAS indirect damage. Other allies absorb 20% DAS indirect damage. | ||
Water | Revitalize Revitalize Heals allied target for 150% DAS HP and all other allies for 55% DAS HP and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Restorative Recourse | Removes negative effects from allied target Dragon such as Slow Burn, Dark Clouds, Poison, Power of Thunder, Dazzling Aura, Creeping Shadows and Death Mark. |
Regeneration | Regenerates allied target for 2 turns by 75% DAS HP each turn. Heals target before damage over time effects apply, such as Slow Burn, Poison and Creeping Shadows. It can be used multiple times by one caster, but only the duration is prolonged. However, it is stackable when used by different casters. | ||
Plant | Poison Deals 80% DAS as damage each turn, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Infection | If a target with an active Infection effect is defeated by any means, the poison spreads to the remaining current opponent dragons (a second wave remains unaffected) and they are dealt 80% DAS for 2 turns. It is stackable only if the Infection is from different casters (if the casting Dragon is the same for both, then the effect is only prolonged). |
Pandemic | Poison lasts 1 additional turn. | ||
Metal | Vengeful Sword Primary aura deals 125% DAS to a direct attacker and 40% DAS to an indirect attacker; secondary aura deals 50% DAS to a direct attacker and 30% DAS to an indirect attacker, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
En Garde | Primary aura absorbs 20% DAS incoming damage. |
Final Vengeance | If a target with the primary aura is defeated, deals 80% DAS damage to all enemies. | ||
Energy | Electric Jolt Deals an additional 90% DAS to another opponent, plus a 50% chance to deal an additional 80% DAS to a third opponent, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Burnout | Energy attack removes positive effects from the primary target, such as Regeneration, Stone Shield, Vengeful Sword, and Dominance. The positive effect is always removed before damage is dealt. Burnout does not remove Dazzling Aura. |
Power of Thunder | 25% chance that the attack will stun the primary target for one turn. | ||
Void | Life Steal Heals the caster by 85% DAS HP, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Pay It Forward | Hitting a target heals the caster and its allies by 30% DAS HP. |
Dark Ritual | When a target with one or more positive effects is hit, using this skill transfers all effects to the caster where it lasts for the effects' remaining time, but not more than 2 rounds.

Light | Solar Flare Deals additional 85% DAS damage to all other opponents, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Dazzling Aura | 15% chance to stun the opponent for one turn when the caster gets hit. This mastery is a passive skill, thus being active all the time without the need to cast it. It is not affected by Burnout or Frightened Speechless. |
Healing Light | 80% chance to heal all Dragons for 10% DAS when the caster hits an opponent. | ||
Shadow | Creeping Shadows Deals 80% DAS as damage each turn, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
50% chance to make the target unable to use any active skill for two turns. However, Dazzling Aura is not affected and can still be triggered by direct hits, as it is a passive skill. | |
Shade of Oneself | Reduces target's base damage by 25% DAS for two turns. | ||
Legendary | Death Mark Target takes 45% DAS extra damage when hit by any direct attack, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Heroic Healing | When the marked enemy is hit, the caster receives 40% DAS HP. |
Heroic Duel | When the marked enemy hits the caster, the caster retaliates, dealing 80% DAS. | ||
Primal | Bloodlust Deals additional 120% DAS damage, but takes 10% DAS more extra direct damage, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Savage Bite | Deals back 50% DAS damage to its attacker. When hit by Area Damage, deals back 20% DAS damage. |
Incapacitating Bite | 15% chance to stun the target for 1 turn. | ||
Divine | Divine Wisdom Increases the attack and health stats. |
Great Blessing | Blesses an ally to deal 60% DAS more damage and receive 80% more of its original health for 3 turns. |
Mass Blessing | Blesses all allies to deal 50% DAS more damage and receive 50% more of their original health for 2 turns. | ||
Ancient | Damage Leech Reduces target damage and deals more damage by 60% DAS, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Mass Leech | Allied dragons have their damage increased by 25% of the damage drained from the target enemy for 2 turns. |
Enchantment Mirror | In addition to reducing the target's damage, this mastery steals all positive effects from the target dragon, and transfers all negative effects from the caster to the target dragon. | ||
Tyrant | Dominance Shields allied target with x additional HP, and the trained secondary effect occurs: |
Unbreakable | Shields allied target with 70% additional HP, and grants all allied dragons immunity to any new negative effects for 1 turn. |
Target of Opportunity | Shields allied target with 90% additional HP, and extends the duration of the Dominance effect to 3 turns. |
Mastery Skill Effects
Some Element Mastery Skills have a Positive effect (increasing or preserving HP), a Negative effect (decreasing HP), provide an Area of Effect (affecting multiple targets, decreasing HP), or cause Damage Over Time (occurring over more than one turn or round, decreasing HP).

- ↑ Items denoted with a * are passive skills, skills that remain activate on their own after first casting, without the need to recast it. An example of this being Vengeful Sword, after being cast on the Trainer’s team, it will automatically strike back on opponents without needing to be recast, the Trainer can remain passive while the effect is in place.
- ↑ The Dominance skill remains in effect on the target ally for 2 turns; however, immunity for all allies to new negative only remains in effect for 1 turn.

History
- Update 7.1: Introduced the Dominance Skill.
- Update 6.6: Introduced the Bloodlust Skill.
- Update 5.3: Changed Damage Leech increase/reduction for levels 1-5 from 5%/10%/20%/30%/40%/50% to 5%/15%/25%/35%/45%.
- Made Damage Leech no longer stackable, always stealing the base amount.
- Made Divine Skills no longer stackable, always increasing the base amount.
- Made Skills unlockable only at certain Dragon Collector's Scores to aid familiarization of newer Trainers with game features (long-term players were unaffected).
- Update 5.2: Added new icons for Skill Masteries.
- Changed Hot Coals back to do the same damage again.
- Update 4.9: Renamed Wisdom of the Ancients to Divine Wisdom, due to the Ancient Element introduction.
- Changed Dark Ritual to steal all positive effects instead of just the oldest.
- Update 4.0: Made Stone Shield absorb indirect damage in addition to direct.
- Made Vengeful Sword deal damage to indirect attackers in addition to direct.
- Made Electric Jolt strike chance damage to the third opponent increased from 20% to 25%, 35%, 40% for Levels 2, 3 and 4, respectively and from 30% to 50% for Level 6. And increased Power of Thunder chance to stun an opponent from 25% to 35%.
- Modified Life Steal masteries, made Pay it Forward heal the caster and allied Dragons without the requirement of defeating the opposing Dragon, but with a decreased healing capacity from 50% to 30%, and made Dark Ritual no longer heal the caster with 100% capacity, but rather steal a positive effect from the target.
- Made Mass Blessing Wisdom of the Ancients mastery last two rounds instead of one.
- Update 3.1: Introduced Wisdom of the Ancients skill as part of the introduction of the Divine Element.
- Update 2.9: Made Poison and Infection not stack; thus a Dragon can only be poisoned by the same attacker once.
- Update 1.6: Added ability to change mastery skills in exchange for Scrolls and Gems.
- Update 1.5: Introduced Solar Flare and Creeping Shadows skills.
- Update 1.1: Increased the cost of upgrading skills, both in Scrolls and Gold.
- Update 1.0: Introduced Explosive Results, Dark Clouds, Stone Shield, Revitalize, Poison, Vengeful Sword, Electric Jolt, Life Steal and Death Mark Skills.
Bugs and Issues
- Update 7.2: Resolved a bug where Tyrant’s Dominance skill allowed the Divine Mass Blessing positive effect to increase the HP gained with the bonus HP shield (as intended, Dominance calculates its bonus HP in the positive effect through the dragon’s base HP rather than its current HP).
